The Mariotti Company supplied the original travertine cladding back in the late 60’s. The building, located at 716 Fifth Avenue is undergoing a major renovation with the annex of an adjacent building.
For this project we teamed with the office of Karen Pearse for the research of the correct type of travertine and finish with the aim to match, as close as possible, the original material. Fabrication is currently in progress, and it involves 2” thick flat veneer, cubic cornices and arches.
For this project we are also responsible for the development of shop drawings and cut tickets.
